Chinese
Business (F) Visa is issued to an alien who is invited to
China for a visit, an investigation, a lecture, to do business,
scientific-technological and culture exchanges, short-term
advanced studies or internship for a period of no more than
six months. Usually, the validity of a single entry, double
entry or multiple entries (F) visa is 90 days or 180 days
from the date of issue. This means the holder of the visa
shall enter China no later than 90 days or 180 days from the
date of issue, otherwise the visa will expire and is null
and void. The duration of each stay of a (F) visa ranges from
30 to 120 days, which means the holder of the visa may stay
in China for up to 30 to 120 days from the date of entry.
If you have entered into China with a business (F) visa, and
desire to stay in China longer than the valid period specified
on your current visa, or desire to re-enter into China for
business purposes in the near future, you are required to
apply for a new F visa. You may apply for a zero-entry, single-entry,
double-entry business visa with a valid period of no longer
than 6 months, or a multiple-entry business visa with a valid
period of 6 months or one year.
There
are NO limitation of each stay on the visas issued in the
China mainland. Thus, if it is a 6-month F visa, you can stay
as long as 180 days without leaving. The entry (ies) is for
your planned and unexpected leave. You don¡¯t have to use it
up.
To apply
for a new F visa in China mainland (also called China F visa
extension, China F visa renewal) to stay longer, please check
