Who is qualified to obtain a Police Clearance Certificate from Hangzhou?
Foreigners who have lived in Hangzhou for more than 6 months on china residence permit issued in Hangzhou is qualified to apply for a non-criminal record certificate in Hangzhou.

Documents list for Hangzhou Police Clearance Certificate
1. Scanned copy of current passport including photo page, visa pages, residence permit pages and pages with exit-entry stamps.
2. Scanned copy of previous passport including photo page, visa pages, residence permit pages and pages with exit-entry stamps. (If applicable)
3. Scanned copy of temporary residence registration form. The Temporary Residence Registration Form is a certificate of temporary residence issued by local police station or hotel upon your arrival in China within 24 hours. It is a required document for request of Guangzhou Police Certificate.
4. Scanned copy of work permit if you worked in Hangzhou; Or scanned copy of certificate of study if you studied in Guangzhou. Work permits, and degree are optional documents for police certificate application.

There is no national issuing authority of China Police Certificate covering the whole China.
