Document list for Shanghai Police Clearance Certificate
1. Scanned copy of current and previous passport photo pages, visa pages, residence permit pages and exit-entry stamp pages.
2. Scanned copy of temporary residence registration.
3. Scanned copy of work permit or scan copy of original degree/diploma. Work permits, and degree are optional documents for police certificate application.
4. An Authorization letter which was notarized and with Hague Apostille stamp (hard copy). (We provide template of authorization letter).

Does the Shanghai Non-Criminal Record Certificate cover all of China?
There is no national issuing authority of China Police Certificate covering the whole China. Applicants should apply for Shanghai Police Certificate at the Bureau of Entry and exit of Shanghai Public Security Bureau. Shanghai Police Certificate only certifies that applicant has no criminal record during living in Shanghai not the whole China.

What can you do if I am not qualified to get a police clearance from Shanghai?
