Documents list for Shenzhen Police Clearance Certificate
1. Valid passport photo page with Notarization and Hague Apostille stamp (hard copy).
2. Power of Attorney with Notarization and Hague Apostille stamp (hard copy).
3. Scanned copy of passport pages with China visa, the pages with Chinese residence permit and the pages with China exit-entry stamps.
4. Scanned copy of temporary residence registration form if still available
5. Scanned copy of work permit or scan copy of degree/diploma, these are optional documents for police certificate application.

Does the Shenzhen Non-Criminal Record Certificate cover all of China?
There is no national issuing authority of China Police Certificate covering the whole China. Applicants should apply for Shenzhen Police Certificate at the Entry and exit reception Hall for foreigners of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau.
Shenzhen Police Certificate only certifies that applicant has no criminal record during living in Shenzhen not the whole China.

What can you do if I am not qualified to get a police clearance from Shenzhen?
If you are not qualified to obtain a Shenzhen Police Clearance, we can provide you a letter explain why you can’t get a police clearance from Shenzhen.

1. Stay in Shenzhen on a residence permit issued in Shenzhen but for no more than 6 months.
2. The temporary residence registration was not registered during the period of residence in Shenzhen.
3. Have a criminal record while living in Shenzhen.
4. Stay in Shenzhen on non-residence permit, such as L-type visa, F-type visa, M-type visa, Q2-type visa, X2-type visa, etc.
Immigration/employment authorities in some countries may be exempt from submitting overseas police certificates. To apply for the exemption, we can provide a declaration letter from our company explaining why the police certificate cannot be obtained.
